Hello guys. I have a PS3 and want to play on my Acer X193W. I bought a DVI to HDMI. But my monitor has no DVI port. So I bought a DVI to VGA. but the custom screen ps3? Can anyone help?

There are two types of DVI, analog and digital DVI-DVI. the PS3 is HDMI-DVI = digital.
But VGA is analog. This DVI digital-analog VGA not working with a simple adapter, which explains why the PS3 does not appear on the monitor.
I may be wrong, but I'm sure it will not work. VGA HDMI is completely different, and although the connection is possible thanks to the channel that you do not believe that it always works.
But as I said, I may be mistaken.
I would say that a good idea to get an adapter and a cable of a kind
